Rowan University’s Department of Cell and Molecular Biology invites applications for an Associate Professor position. We seek an accomplished investigator with an independent research program focused on cellular and molecular mechanisms of chronic human disease, including translational biology, model systems, or computational approaches.

Qualifications

• PhD, MD, DO or equivalent doctoral degree in a relevant biomedical discipline.
• Established record of independent and productive research in cell and molecular biology or disease mechanisms.
• Strong record of peer-reviewed publications and contributions for Associate Professor level.
• Evidence of extramural research funding and ability to sustain an externally funded program.
• Mentorship history and commitment to graduate/medical/postdoctoral training.
• Ability to contribute to collaborative and interdisciplinary programs.

Responsabilités

• Lead an independent, externally funded research program focused on disease mechanisms.
• Publish peer-reviewed work and mentor trainees and junior investigators.
• Collaborate across departments and disciplines to advance translational research.
