The Department of Ophthalmology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania and the Philadelphia VA Medical Center (PVAMC) seeks candidates for an Associate Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of surgical retina. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree. Candidates in mid-career are encouraged to apply.
Teaching responsibilities may include teaching residents, students, and fellows at the Scheie Eye Institute and the Philadelphia VA. Clinical responsibilities may include providing medical and surgical retina care for patients at the Scheie Eye Institute, the Philadelphia VA, and satellite offices.
