Job summary

The role requires completing formal training in plastic surgery and a track record in microsurgical reconstruction.

The successful candidate will participate in teaching, research, and service while contributing to the growth of the institutional plastic and reconstructive surgery program.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Completion of plastic surgery residency and microsurgery fellowship or equivalent.
• Board certified or board eligible by ABPS.
• Ability to obtain a state medical license.
• Experience in complex reconstruction and established clinical practice.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Care: perform advanced reconstructive microsurgery and manage complex wounds.
• Teaching & Education: educate and mentor residents and fellows in plastic surgery programs.
• Research & Academic Output: conduct clinical or translational research and publish.
• Administrative & Service: participate in departmental and hospital committees and grow microsurgery program.
