The Saban Research Institute at Children's Hospital Los Angeles, in collaboration with the Keck School of Medicine of USC, seeks to hire an outstanding scientist at the rank of associate professor (tenure track). The candidate must have substantial experience in human imaging, specifically in structural and functional imaging, mass spectroscopy, with an emphasis on imaging in infants and toddlers. Desirable research areas include brain structural and functional adaptations following hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy, and longitudinal neuroimaging studies involving biosample collection and comprehensive child development and caregiver assessments.
Applicants should have an excellent research record, including success in securing grants from NIH, other federal agencies, and non-profit organizations. They should also have a history of interdisciplinary collaboration. Candidates with a strong interest in translational neuroscience are encouraged to apply.
Education Requirements: Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent degree.

The annual salary range is $150,000-$212,000, based on experience and qualifications. Academic appointment level will be commensurate with training and experience.
