Johns Hopkins University’s Department of Modern Languages and Literatures seeks to appoint a tenured Associate Professor in Italian Studies, with a specialization in nineteenth to contemporary Italian literature. The appointee will contribute to undergraduate and graduate programs and participate in ongoing research.

The successful candidate will supervise doctoral research, teach courses in Italian and English, and serve on the editorial board of MLN, advancing inclusive global scholarship

Qualifications

• Tenured Associate Professor in Italian Studies with specialization in nineteenth, twentieth, and/or contemporary Italian literature.
• Engage in graduate and undergraduate teaching in Italian and English.
• Contribute to departmental research and service.

The Department of Modern Languages and Literatures at Johns Hopkins University seeks to appoint a tenured faculty member in Italian Studies at the rank of Associate Professor, with a specialization in nineteenth, twentieth, and/or contemporary Italian literature.
