Columbia University Irving Medical Center and NewYork-Presbyterian are conducting a search to appoint the next Chief of the Division of Digestive and Liver Diseases. This appointment will hold the faculty position of Associate or Professor in the Applied Healthcare Track based on teaching, academic medicine, and scholarship experience. The Chief will be responsible for operations, finances, and strategy, leading and growing clinical, research, and educational programs across the Medical Center and the College. They will oversee the development of centers of excellence and clinical programs, supporting transformative research.
This position requires a dynamic, passionate, and capable physician leader with extensive research experience and a successful record in clinical leadership, administration, program development, scholarship, education, faculty recruitment, and community engagement. The ideal candidate will have administrative experience at an academic institution, a national reputation for academic accomplishments, experience in recruitment and mentorship, and strong financial and business skills.
