The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) invites applications for a tenure-track Associate Professor to lead a new Implementation Science Initiative within the HCC Cancer Prevention and Control Program. This role emphasizes translating discoveries into real-world cancer prevention, screening, and survivorship improvements across South Carolina and beyond.

Qualifications

PhD, MD, DO, DrPH, ScD or equivalent degree with training in implementation science, medicine, epidemiology, public health, informatics and data science, nursing, psychology, anthropology, behavioral science, behavioral economics, health services, health economics, communication, decision sciences, sociology, or other related fields
Extensive cancer-relevant and implementation science research experience
Extensive peer-reviewed publication experience

Responsibilities

Lead the new Implementation Science Initiative within HCC Cancer Prevention and Control Program.
Apply implementation science methods to optimize cancer prevention and control innovations and practices.
Mentor early-stage investigators and contribute to academic leadership.
Develop collaborations with clinicians, researchers, community partners, and health systems.
