Job summary

UC San Diego Academic Jobs seeks highly skilled Endoscopists with expertise in Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection (ESD) to join a leading academic gastroenterology team.

Applicants must hold an MD or MD/PhD in Gastroenterology and be board certified or eligible. California medical license or eligibility is required. Appointment atAssistant/Associate/Full Professor level will reflect background and experience.

Qualifications

• MD or MD/PhD in Gastroenterology or related field.
• Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology.
• California medical license or eligible to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced GI procedures including ESD across GI tract.
• Contribute to outpatient clinics, research, and device development.
• Teach trainees in the advanced endoscopy program and gastroenterology fellowships.
• Participate in on-call rotations for GI emergencies and consultations.
