The Department of Medicine at the University of California, San Diego, seeks highly skilled Endoscopists with expertise in Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection to join the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology.

Our team performs complex ESD across a broad range of GI disorders and provides opportunities for outpatient clinics, research in endoscopy and device development, and education within a leading academic medical center.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection (ESD) for GI lesions.
• Experience performing complex endoscopic resections and novel endoscopic therapies.
• Strong teaching and clinical service commitments within an academic medical center.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced endoscopic procedures including ESD in a high-volume setting.
• Provide outpatient clinic time for diagnosis and treatment and participate in research and device development.
• Contribute to teaching within the advanced endoscopy preceptorship and gastroenterology fellowship programs.
• Perform GI endoscopic procedures in endoscopy suites or operating rooms.
• Participate in on-call rotation for GI emergencies and consultations.
