Job summary

Fourth Floor is seeking an Associate Production Manager for a temporary assignment in New York City. You will manage production for accessories and footwear, coordinating with Product Development and Sourcing to move designs into bulk production.

You will track calendars, monitor schedules, communicate with vendors, and maintain data in PLM/ERP systems, ensuring timely delivery while addressing risks and maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of production, sourcing, or supply chain experience within apparel, accessories, or footwear.
• Experience managing overseas manufacturing and vendor relationships preferred.
• Strong understanding of the product lifecycle from development through production and delivery.
• Knowledge of accessories and footwear construction, materials, and manufacturing processes is a plus.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with PLM and ERP systems preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple functions and build strong relationships with internal and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Manage production activities for accessories and footwear from PO placement through final shipment.
• Partner with Product Development and Sourcing to transition from development into bulk production.
• Track and maintain seasonal production calendars and milestones.
• Monitor factory production schedules and address delays or risks.
• Review production timelines, purchase orders, and shipping schedules.
• Communicate product specs, materials and construction details to vendors.
• Maintain production data within PLM, ERP, and related systems.
• Coordinate with domestic and international vendor partners on status and resolutions.
• Assist in developing standardized production processes and best practices.
