Job summary

J.Crew Group in New York, NY, is seeking an Associate Production Manager for denim to lead in-season production from concept through delivery. You will drive calendar adherence, negotiate costs, and manage samples to ensure deadlines and quality align with design intent.

Responsibilities

  • Attend in-season production meetings and relay product information to teams and vendors from concept to delivery.
  • Collect and manage time and action information to ensure adherence to the Product Development Calendar.
  • Maintain seasonal cost charts and communicate initial projections and cost targets to vendors; engage in cost negotiations.
  • Manage sample requests and track samples to meet deadlines, quality standards and design aesthetics.
  • Attend fit sessions to ensure proper measurements and corrections within guidelines.
  • Maintain line of communication between internal teams, vendors and factories to track style details and deadlines.
