Job summary

Madewell is hiring an Associate Production Manager for handbag production at our New York HQ. You will attend in-season production meetings, manage time and action calendars, and communicate with internal teams and vendors from concept through delivery.

The role requires 2–3 years in production or product management, garment costing experience, and strong organizational and negotiation skills. A hybrid work approach is possible with our teams.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in production/product management.
• Experience in garment costing.
• Knowledge of time and action calendars.
• Excellent communication, organizational and follow-through skills.
• Experience in PLM and Microsoft Suite.

Responsibilities

• Attend in-season production and related meetings with internal teams and vendors from concept to delivery.
• Collect and manage time and action information to adhere to the Product Development Calendar.
• Maintain seasonal cost charts and communicate projections and targets to vendors; engage in cost negotiations.
• Manage sample requests and track samples to meet deadlines, quality, and design aesthetics.
• Attend fit sessions to ensure measurements and corrections follow the fit process guidelines.
• Maintain line of communication between internal teams, vendors, and factories to track style detail and deadlines.
