Description

We’re looking for an Associate Production Manager (Contract) to partner with our Product Development team in bringing music and pop culture inspired fashion to life. Apparel production takes a village, and you’re known as the one that’s able to bring it all together. The result: amazing product that our customers love.

What You'll Do
  1. Manage production process from design handoff to finished product - develop and source fabrics, yarns, and trims; obtain approvals for fabric, lab dip, and trims; ensure tech pack turnovers to sourcing partners; troubleshoot and come up with options to resolve issues in development/production and quality.
  2. Work closely with the merchant & product development team to ensure the vision of the product is achieved during sourcing & production, and update them regularly on deliveries and issues.
  3. Partner with internal teams like import, vendor relations, and traffic to coordinate inbound merchandise for on-time delivery.
  4. Work with the licensing team to obtain licensor’s comments promptly to ensure on-time delivery.
  5. Work with overseas vendors to monitor development and delivery timelines.
  6. Source & start up new factory relationships; negotiate costs and deliverables to achieve the best margin and quality for our customers.
  7. Identify styles that can be moved out of China and redevelop with Non-China vendors to offset tariffs.
  8. Negotiate costs & delivery terms to present to buyers for POs based on new countries of origin.
  9. Collect liability information for styles with COO China.
What You'll Need
  1. 3+ years of product development experience in retail or wholesale working with overseas offices.
  2. Experience with licensed products is a plus.
  3. Organized, great communicator, detail-oriented, proficient in Excel.
  4. Well-versed in reviewing garment test reports.
  5. Sourcing, manufacturing, and costing expertise; negotiation skills.
  6. Up-to-date knowledge of trends & strategies in sourcing & production.
  7. Strong negotiation skills.
  8. Team player comfortable with giving and receiving honest feedback.
