Job summary

Spirit AeroSystems in Tulsa, OK is seeking an Associate (Level 2) to analyze and optimize shop floor planning, schedules and capacity. You will work with engineering, manufacturing and tooling to align resources and improve production performance.

This role requires 2+ years of manufacturing experience, proficiency with MRP systems, and the ability to present data to leadership. Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office is preferred.

• Experience with shop floor planning, including build plan and sequenced manufacturing schedules.
• Proficient in using MRP systems and managing project tasks independently across multiple workflows.
• Skilled in facilitating meetings and presenting data clearly to various stakeholders.

Overview

This role is at Spirit AeroSystems, Inc. a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, supporting Spirit’s Commercial Business Units(“Spirit Commercial”). Spirit Commercial designs and builds commercial aerostructures, including for Boeing Commercial Airplanes, one of Boeing’s three business units and the premier manufacturer of commercial jetliners for decades. Spirit Commercial’s core products include fuselages, pylons, nacelles and wing components, with a focus on innovative composite and aluminium manufacturing solutions.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field preferred
• Aerospace or production control experience strongly preferred
• Proficient in SAP and other systems; tech-savvy with strong skills in Microsoft suite
• Experience developing labor hour and overtime plans

Summary Pay Range - Associate (Level 2): $56,500 -$86,650
