Cimpress India is hiring for a Graphic Designer.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate a good understanding of existing commercial designing software applications/CAD tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, etc.
- Show beginner-level conceptualization and designing skills, including typography, color theory, layout skills, and design trends.
- Possess basic reading comprehension to understand customer needs in English, along with beginner-level verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Hold a degree or diploma in Graphics Designing or a related field.
- Have at least 1 year of prior domain experience, either freelance (print-based & corporate identity work) or with an artistic media firm.
- Participated in workshops or design projects at renowned art institutes, including concepts like pencil art, sketching, doodling, and calligraphy.
- Having knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and Outlook is a plus.
- Ability to adapt to new software applications/CAD tools.
- Be adaptable to ongoing improvements and changes, and reject cynicism.
- Exhibit analytical skills and logical thinking by viewing work from the customer's perspective to ensure designs convey the intended message effectively.
- Operate various graphic designing software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Adobe Stock, with firsthand experience in AI, PS, and InDesign.
- Demonstrate strong ethical behavior, passion, commitment, and a drive for quality excellence.
- Have an aptitude for learning and continuous improvement.
- Be receptive to feedback, self-aware, and possess a growth mindset for self-learning and development.
- Work effectively across diverse cultures.
MUST HAVE:
- Create, review, modify, or recreate designs based on customer requirements, ensuring high-quality output suitable for production and customer satisfaction.
- Proactively raise issues related to systems, tools, performance, and processes, resolve escalations from customers or manufacturing, and share feedback with the Team Lead for future improvements.
- Engage in activities that promote continuous skill development relevant to the role.
