## Associate, Product Specialist, Global Private Equity Client Solutions GroupApplyremote type: On-Sitelocations: New York, NYtime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: R-00167**Position Summary**The Carlyle Group seeks to hire an Associate as a Product Specialist for Global Private Equity within the Client Solutions Group. The position will support Senior PE Product Specialists in strategically managing fundraise processes and handling investor requests across Carlyle’s growing US Buyout business. Periodic interaction with existing limited partners and potential investors is expected. This successful candidate must be able to prioritize multiple tasks, demonstrate attention to detail, and work under pressure in a deadline-oriented environment.**Primary Responsibilities:*** Support entire fund lifecycle, including fundraising and ongoing investor relations* Develop deep product knowledge and expertise* Create and maintain marketing and diligence materials, including presentations, investor updates, data room contents, and thought-leadership content* Prepare and manage existing and prospective client requests, including RFPs, DDQs, and other due diligence requests* Maintain strategic internal documents, including investor pipelines and dashboards to track toward fundraising progress and goals, talking points and performance summaries, sales collateral, etc.* Support the strategy and coordination for client meetings and events, global roadshows, webinar events, and investor conferences* Source and analyze market and industry research related to fundraising, including preparing analysis of the competitive landscape* Utilize technical skills to prepare bespoke, data-driven fundraising and investor analyses* Partner with key stakeholders (such as professionals across Investor Relations, Investment Teams, Corporate Affairs, Fund Management, Legal, Compliance) to promote engagement and alignment across the business to execute on the fundraising strategy and achieve positive client experience* Support Carlyle’s Compliance objectives by liaising with the Legal and Compliance Department* Complete special projects as needed**Requirements****Education & Certificates*** Bachelor’s degree required* Series 7 and 63 required or to be obtained within 90 days of commencement**Professional Experience*** Minimum of 6 years of experience required* Preferred Experience includes: Investor relations or business development at a private equity investment firm; investment banking/capital markets/asset management role* A strong understanding of financial markets and/or experience with Private Equity* Experience at an alternative investment firm, an alternative investment placement firm, an investment bank or a consultant is required**Competencies & Attributes*** Team player, with demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team and foster a positive team dynamic* Client-centric mindset, desire to deliver excellent experience for our existing and prospective investors* Intellectual curiosity, demonstrating interest in alternatives / private equity and ongoing learning* Excellent technical skills, including desire to learn and become the subject matter expert in the systems used to respond to investor requests* Self-starter and creative thinker; takes initiative and actively engages in projects and team efforts, bringing energy, excitement, and an innovative approach to engineer processes for efficiency* Strong interpersonal skills* Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail* Excellent written and oral communication skills* Flexibility to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities in fast-paced environment; resilient and able to work well under pressure* Advanced Microsoft Office (including Excel and PowerPoint) skills required* Thoughtful approach to risk management* Ability to quickly develop competency in manipulating various reporting platforms and systems to obtain usable LP data* Ability to leverage AI technologies to streamline operations, enhance decision-making, and drive execution of key responsibilities with greater efficiency and impact. While AI is a powerful enabler, it does not replace strategic thinking; human insight and judgment will remain essential.**Benefits/Compensation**The compensation range for this role is specific to New York City and takes into account a wide range of factors including but not limited to the skill sets required/preferred; prior experience and training; licenses and/or certifications.The anticipated base salary range for this role is $175,000.In addition to the base salary, the hired professional will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package spanning retirement benefits, health insurance, life insurance and disability, paid time off, paid holidays, family planning benefits and various wellness programs.
