Job summary

MARIANI PACKING GROUP is seeking an Associate Product Manager in Vacaville, CA, focusing on Private Label products. This role emphasizes managing item setups, coordinating packaging, and working with various teams to improve product lines.

Location: Vacaville, CA 95688
Salary: $71,000 - $90,000 per year
Position: Associate Product Manager, Private Label
Note: Food Manufacturing role, not a Software Manager position

Key Responsibilities

• Private Label New Item Setup and Packaging Artwork Routing
• Work directly with Retail Customers’ Private Label product managers, broker partners, other team members, and internal departments on improving existing product lines and developing new products using best practices within Mariani capabilities and procedures.
• Development, coordination, implementation, and maintenance of artwork/package designs.
• Maintain product and packaging specification files in the Loftware and Retailer Product Management Portals. Lead and participate in artwork approval routing.
• Coordinate retail customers’ product specification requests, completing questionnaires with known information or coordinating responses with internal cross‑functional team members.
• Ongoing product maintenance: create and update product costing, material revisions, forecast & projections, and update price lists for Retail Customers.
• Conduct product costings as required on existing products, new products based on commodity and competitor product changes.

Position Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) from a four‑year college or university; or 3‑5 years related CPG Sales & Marketing experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with Retail Grocery Customer Portals preferred.
• Packaging Artwork Routing experience strongly preferred.
• Proficient with a personal computer and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Experience with IRI/Nielsen syndicated data and NetSuite ERP system experience preferred.
• Bi‑lingual (Spanish) is a plus.
