Job summary

Databricks is seeking an Associate Product Manager for our 2027 APM cohort in San Francisco, Mountain View, and Bellevue. You will join a team collaborating with product managers, engineers, designers, account teams, and leaders to understand customer problems and drive solution development across AI Platform, Genie, ML, Unity Catalog, Databricks SQL, ETL, Streaming, and EDA.

You will own projects end-to-end—design, build, launch, and iterate based on feedback—while shipping high-quality

Qualifications

• Graduating Fall 2026 or Spring 2027 with CS or related engineering degree.
• Pursuing a CS or related engineering field.
• Experience using AI tooling for personal projects.
• Some experience with SQL and/or Python.
• Hands-on and ready to build, test and iterate.
• Analytical skills to make data-driven decisions.

As an Associate Product Manager, you will join a team that works diligently to understand and solve our customers’ most challenging problems across our product lines, including AI Platform, Genie, Machine Learning, Unity Catalog, Databricks SQL, ETL, Streaming, and EDA. We are hiring for San Francisco, CA; Mountain View, CA; and Bellevue, WA. As part of our 2027 APM cohort, you will have a dedicated manager and mentor and will collaborate with product managers, engineers, designers, account teams, and leaders across the company.

The Impact You Will Have

• Deeply understand the customer problem space and establish the rails for a viable solution space
• Prototype and test early ideas with customers and engineers to validate direction before the team commits to a build
• Work with engineers and designers to ship features on the Databricks platform
• Own your project end‑to‑end—design, build, launch, iterate on feedback
• Build with scale, quality, and security in mind from day one

What We Look For

• You will graduate in Fall 2026 or Spring 2027 with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related engineering practice
• You are pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s in computer science or a related engineering field
• You have used AI tooling for personal productivity and development projects
• You have some first‑hand experience with SQL and/or Python
• You are hands‑on and learn by doing—happy to build, test, and iterate to find solutions
• You use analytical skills to make data‑driven decisions (e.g., analyzing product usage)
• You can explain complex topics simply and communicate nuance to partners (engineers, customers, field teams) in both written and verbal form
• You are excited to solve ambiguous problems with a collaborative team
• You stay curious and keep learning, whether it’s a new technology, a customer’s domain, or a corner of the product you haven’t touched

Pay Range Transparency

Databricks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role is $133,000—$150,000 USD, for non‑commissionable roles or on‑target earnings for commissionable roles. The total compensation package may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and benefits.
