Job summary

Eurofins DiscoverX seeks an Associate Product Manager for Drug Discovery Solutions in Fremont, CA. The role drives product launches, lifecycle management, and market intelligence to accelerate growth across Biotech and pharma markets.

You will collaborate with Marketing, Sales, R&D, and Operations to shape positioning, pricing, and collateral while analyzing customer needs and market trends. This is a full-time on-site position with strong benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in life science, biotechnology, pharma, or drug discovery.
• 0-3 years’ experience in Product Management, Scientific Marketing, Market Development, or related customer-facing scientific roles.
• Strong understanding of drug discovery workflows, assay technologies, and customer requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in life science; MS/PhD in life science and/or MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

Eurofins DiscoverX is looking for a results-driven Product Manager to join the Marketing team based in Fremont, CA. Eurofins DiscoverX, the products division of Eurofins Discovery, is the industry leader in the design, development, and manufacture of biochemical and cell-based assays for the drug discovery and development markets. Our extensive portfolio of products and development capabilities supports and accelerates biologic and small molecule drug development programs, from discovery through clinical development, into Commercialization and QC lot release.

Here’s what you’ll do:

Product Launch & Commercialization

• Lead and coordinate the execution of new product launches across assigned product portfolios.
• Develop launch plans in collaboration with Marketing, Sales, R&D, and Operations teams.
• Support development of product positioning, messaging, pricing, and launch materials (including training materials when needed and presentations for commercial teams).
• Recommend actions to maximize product adoption and commercial success.
• Identify opportunities to increase product visibility, customer engagement & adoption, lead generation, and revenue growth.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop campaigns, scientific content, and digital assets.
• Assess customer journeys and identify gaps in product content, application data, technical resources, and website content.
• Support portfolio growth through data-driven analysis and execution of optimization initiatives.

Product Lifecycle Management

• Manage ongoing lifecycle activities for assigned products.
• Own and coordinate updates to product documentation (e.g., datasheets, user manuals, product specifications, and web content).
• Manage Change Control Log (CCL) activities and ensure documentation remains accurate
• Evaluate customer feedback and product performance trends to identify improvement opportunities.

Market Intelligence, Voice of Customer and New Product Opportunity Identification

• Conduct competitive analysis and monitor relevant market, technology, and industry trends.
• Gather and analyze Voice of Customer (VOC) feedback through customer interactions, conferences, sales and market development teams, and market research activities.
• Identify unmet customer needs, emerging application areas, and market gaps that may represent opportunities for portfolio growth.
• Translate market and customer insights into recommendations for new products, application data generation, product enhancements, and portfolio expansion initiatives.
• Support portfolio priorities and business decisions through data-driven market insights.
• Generate customer-facing portfolio presentations and supporting materials.
• Partner with Sales, Technical Support, and Market Development teams to support commercial activities and customer opportunities.
• Maintain a strong understanding of customer workflows, challenges, and evolving scientific needs.

The ideal candidate:

• Minimum 4 years of experience within the life science, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or drug discovery industry.
• 0-3 years’ experience either in Product Management, Scientific Marketing, Market Development, Field Applications, Technical Support, or related customer-facing scientific roles.
• Strong understanding of drug discovery workflows, assay technologies, and customer requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
• Good written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
• Customer-focused mindset
• Bachelor’s degree in life science study areas is required.
• A graduate degree (MS/PhD) in life science and/or an MBA is preferred
• Familiarity with cell-based assays, receptor pharmacology, or drug discovery research.
• Experience generating scientific content, application data, customer resources, or marketing collateral.

The position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.- 5 p.m., with overtime as needed. Candidates within a commutable distance of Fremont, CA are encouraged to apply.

Salary range: $110,000 - $140,000/yr.
