ASSOCIATE PRODUCT MANAGER

American Eagle Outfitters, Inc. is seeking an Associate Product Manager to collaborate with our team of product managers in delivering incremental value to enhance our digital and in-store customer experiences.

This is a fully remote position, allowing the employee to work from anywhere in the United States.

Responsibilities include:

1. Collaborating with internal stakeholders and product managers to prioritize initiatives and deliver value incrementally.
2. Analyzing internal systems to identify problems, propose solutions, gain alignment, manage dependencies, and oversee successful rollouts.
3. Utilizing internal and third-party data to prioritize growth opportunities.
4. Managing queues for new requests, balancing fixes versus features, providing clear reporting on delivery timelines, and measuring value.
5. Managing a development team’s backlog by writing clear stories, prioritizing tasks, and managing the product roadmap.
6. Participating in daily standups to ensure key priorities are being met.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least three (3) years of experience in a related role, including three (3) years as a Business Systems Analyst.
• Minimum one (1) year of experience in a Product Management position.
• At least one (1) year of experience leading product development within an agile framework, working with cross-functional teams, collaborating with stakeholders, and developing detailed product requirements, including defining success metrics and managing projects from conception to completion. Experience can be concurrent.
