Job summary

Flexsteel Industries in Dubuque, IA is seeking a Product Development Analyst to support market and product trend research for upcoming initiatives. You will gather insights on inspiration, function, and price, and coordinate with the NPD team to prepare deliverables for Stage Gate processes.

Collaborating with Design & D&E, Purchasing, and Quality teams, you will help maintain the product portfolio and ensure clear communication across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Conducts Market/Product trend research to support new development projects.
• Supports and participates in preparation and presentation of project deliverables required by NPD Stage Gate process.
• Ensures NPD initiatives are communicated to cross-functional departments beyond the gated process.
• Assists with Product Portfolio management by updating the Value Profile support data and maintaining visual display of Promote/Support/Retire product by category and Value Profile tier.
• Develops and maintains an understanding of core product offering.
• Works with corporate purchasing and quality control to understand and resolve product concerns negatively impacting customer experience.
• Collaborates with Design & D&E team to incorporate new / updated function and/or features into new developments
• Travel Required (10%)

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
