Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS) in Raleigh, NC, is seeking an Associate Product Line Manager to support our Cable Backplane Systems team. You will work cross-functionally with engineering, quality, production, customer service, and sales to manage product lines, respond to inquiries, and help drive product profitability.

The role emphasizes RFQs/RFPs, pricing, product data sheets, marketing collateral, and data analysis of revenue and margins by part number and region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Bachelor's in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering preferred
• 2+ years related experience, ideally within the interconnect industry
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, ability to lead and navigate dynamic environments Technical aptitude, including ability to read mechanical drawings
• Proficiency in Microsoft office products such as Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to work cross-functionally with global and multicultural teams in marketing, engineering, quality, manufacturing, vendors, and customers

Responsibilities

• Supporting RFQs, RFPs, as well as costing and pricing of product lines
• Managing product sampling for customers including managing and communication of schedules to customers
• Manage product PCN's
• Monitoring on-going cost reduction and implementation
• Assisting on product requests from customers & sales team
• Developing marketing materials including product datasheets, press releases, and other online or printed marketing collateral
• Ensuring quality and other functions provide timely responses to customer quality concerns
• Developing sales and marketing tools, providing technical assistance to customers and sales team
• Data analysis of product sales including tracking of revenue/margin by product/part number/region/customer
• Job-related travel may be required
