Job summary

New Era Cap, LLC is seeking a Full Time Ind Contributor for its Buffalo, NY HQ. Role focuses on product data creation, cross-functional launch support, and sample coordination in a 100% on-site environment.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s in product-related field and 0–1 year in product development; familiarity with SAP/PLM is preferred. Western New York location offers an on-site campus with company amenities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Product Development, Management, Planning or related field preferred.
• 0–1 year of experience in product development required.
• Knowledge of sportswear or apparel industry preferred.
• Experience with SAP and PLM is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work within Product Lifecycle Management system to create product data requirements.
• Collaborate with Product & Graphic Operations to execute launches and create sales documents.
• Coordinate with Customer Relations and Sourcing to manage samples per development calendars.
• Collect and organize prototypes for product reviews.
• Support SAP reporting requirements and internal communications.
• Maintain confidentiality on sensitive matters.

Responsibilities

• Work within Product Lifecycle Management system to create product data requirements, i.e., Material ID’s, fabric forecasts, license/team lists, cost/price information, etc


• Work cross-functionally with Product & Graphic Operations teams to execute product launch and sales tool deliverables and organizes those deliverables into various sales facing documents


• Work cross-functionally with the Customer Relations and Sourcing teams to ensure samples are ordered and received per development calendars


• Collect and organize prototypes in preparation for product reviews


• Support all SAP related system reporting requirements as directed


• Communicate internally and externally in support of various project tasks and timelines.


• Keep all sensitive matters confidential


• Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Product Development, Management, Planning or related field preferred; additional experience in lieu of degree will be considered


• Zero (0) to one (1) year of experience product development required


• Knowledge of sportswear or apparel industry preferred

The salary range for this posted position is $45,000- $50,000 (plus bonus & benefits) and pertains to candidates located in Western New York. Actual compensation is determined by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, education, essential job duties and requirements, and necessary experience.
