Bunge is seeking an Associate Product Development Scientist in St. Louis, MO. The role supports R&D across sample room operations, pilot plant trials, and analytical testing, working with cross-functional teams to advance product development.

The ideal candidate holds a STEM degree with 1–5 years of hands-on lab or pilot plant experience, plus familiarity with DSC, GC, HPLC, and PLM. This position requires strong organization and collaboration, and the ability to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in STEM with 1–5 years experience or Master's with 0–2 years experience.
• Hands-on lab or pilot plant experience preferred.
• Familiarity with analytical instrumentation and experimental design.
• Strong organizational and collaboration skills.
• Proactive mindset with a passion for learning and innovation.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsabilités

• Serve as backup or lead for sample room and pilot plant operations.
• Conduct analytical testing using DSC, GC, HPLC, PLM and reaction monitoring.
• Execute experiments under guidance of project leads and maintain records.
• Assist in preparing and scale-up of formulations for trials.
• Collaborate with R&D, Procurement, Quality, Regulatory, and Operations.
• Maintain clean, safe, organized lab environment and assist data reporting.
• Demonstrate troubleshooting and continuous improvement.
