Deliverables include validated designs supported by DOE, FEA, and Autodesk analyses, with clear communication to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• 3–5 years of engineering experience in a product development environment.
• Experience as a design engineer on a cross-functional engineering team.
• Experience delivering products from ideation through commercialization using a gated design review process.
• Experience leveraging risk-based tools (FMEA).

Responsibilities

• Lead design enhancements and product line extensions within assigned platforms.
• Translate product requirements into robust, manufacturable solutions with minimal supervision.
• Proactively identify design risks and drive mitigation strategies early in the development process.
• Analyze engineering data to support design decisions and validate with testing/DOE.
• Create and present reports summarizing technical analyses and business viability to varied audiences.
