BMC is looking for an Associate Product Developer located in Southfield, MI to work onsite at our office. We seek an innovator at heart to join our team of highly skilled software developers responsible for BMC’s mainframe products.

This is how you will contribute to BMC's and your own success:

  • Play a vital role in project design to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Design and develop new features, maintain existing features, add improvements, and fix defects in complex areas using Assembler and/or C language.
  • Assist in troubleshooting complex technical problems in development and production.
  • Implement methodologies, processes, and tools.

To be successful in this role, you will bring the following skills and experience:

  • Experience in software development using any programming language (academic experience is also relevant).
  • A self-learner passionate about problem solving and technology.
  • A team player with good communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Self-ownership of work and development goals.

The annual base salary range for this position is estimated between $62,025 and $103,375. Actual salaries depend on factors such as skills, experience, training, certifications, and organizational needs. This range is one component of BMC's compensation package, which may include variable plans and country-specific benefits. Typically, new hires are not hired at the top of the range.
