Role Overview

We are seeking an Associate UX Designer to join the rapidly growing and evolving UX team at Anywhere Real Estate. You will support the design team in creating intuitive, user-centered experiences for web and mobile platforms, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and senior designers to develop your UX skills and craft exceptional digital experiences.

Responsibilities

• User Research Support: Assist in conducting user research, synthesizing findings, and analyzing data to inform design decisions.
• Wireframing and Prototyping: Create low-fidelity wireframes and interactive prototypes, iterating based on feedback and testing.
• UI Design: Work within existing design systems to develop visually appealing and consistent interfaces, refining UI patterns, typography, and color schemes.
• Collaboration & Communication: Coordinate with product teams to ensure design feasibility, clearly present ideas, and incorporate feedback.
• Usability Testing & Iteration: Participate in usability testing to gather insights and refine designs accordingly.
• Documentation & Design Systems: Maintain and contribute to design documentation, style guides, and pattern libraries.
• Continuous Learning & Growth: Stay updated on UX trends and tools, seeking mentorship and feedback to improve skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Interaction Design, HCI, Graphic Design, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Internship, academic projects, or coursework in UX or product design, with a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar tools.
• Understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and usability standards.
• Strong communication skills and enthusiasm for teamwork and learning.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with user research and usability testing.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and front-end concepts.
• Interest or experience in real estate or related digital products.
