Job summary

HanesBrands is seeking a designer to develop concepts for targeted market segments through market research and trend analysis. You will maintain and build production files for Champion Teamwear’s sublimation designs and assist in new garment silhouette design.

You will lead merchandising for marketing materials, organize samples, and participate in photo shoots to ensure accurate representation across collections. Collaboration across teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an apparel-related field.
• At least 2 years of related design/merchandising/development experience in garments or soft goods.
• Working knowledge of Gerber Accumark Pro.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Proficient in MS Office and Adobe Illustrator.

Responsibilities

• Develop design concepts for targeted market segments using trend analysis.
• Maintain and build production files for Champion Teamwear sublimation designs.
• Lead merchandising for marketing materials and coordinate photo shoots.
• Convert garment styles to full-size runs in Gerber Accumark and ensure consistency.
• Create 2D art previews in Illustrator and ensure proportions.
• Ensure designs meet NFHS/USGA sport guidelines.
• Assist with fittings, line reviews, and product development tasks.
• Coordinate with design, validation, and sales teams for samples.
