What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Negotiate favorable terms, volume discounts, and long-term contracts with suppliers
- Manage purchases in support of customer-related business processes or for internal use
- Address defects and delivery issues with suppliers, negotiating refunds as necessary
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure proper scheduling and movement of goods
- Provide guidance to less experienced team members and review supplier invoices with Accounts Payable
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Ability to obtain a DOD Secret clearance due to the sensitivity of information
- Undergraduate degree and 2+ years of experience in procurement or related field
- Understanding of FAR, DFARS, and NAICS, as well as CPSR procedures
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong organizational, detail-oriented, and time management skills

- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with peers and suppliers
