Job summary

Novo Nordisk is seeking a QA/Manufacturing support role at our Clayton, NC PS AM facility to assist with deviation investigations and process confirmations, ensuring regulatory compliance and product quality. You will collaborate with production and QA teams to identify improvements and maintain safe operations.

Qualified candidates have an associate degree in technology or equivalent, with manufacturing or GMP exposure preferred, and a willingness to travel up to 10% as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in technology from an accredited university is required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent with 2 years of manufacturing experience may be considered.
• Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience in a pharmaceutical environment preferred.
• GMP knowledge preferred.
• System knowledge preferred.
• Pharmaceutical manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with production and QA to support deviation investigations, quick containments and root cause analysis
• Ensure compliance with standards
• Identify process needs and improvement opportunities for routine to minimally complex matters
• Perform process confirmations to ensure compliance and process improvements
• Review BPRs as necessary
• Follow all safety and environmental requirements in the performance of duties
• Other duties, as assigned

Education

Associate’s degree in technology

The Position

Support people, equipment and processes for our operations areas to meet business and regulatory requirements.

Relationships

Reports to Manager. The role is responsible for collaborating with stakeholders related to assigned area.

Physical Requirements

Ability to work in an open office environment with the possibility of frequent distraction. Ability to travel up to 10% of the time (% can change on a case-by-case basis based on the role).

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in technology (engineering, technology or related field of study preferred) from an accredited university required
• May consider a High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of two (2) years of manufacturing experience required, preferably in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
• Minimum of one (1) year of manufacturing experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment preferred
• GMP knowledge preferred
• System knowledge preferred
• Manufacturing experience preferred
• Pharmaceutical manufacturing experience a plus
