Job summary

Novo Nordisk A/S in Clayton, NC is seeking an Associate Process Engineer for API Recovery to provide routine support, troubleshoot, and review design and technical specifications. You will participate in risk assessments and quality activities, and collaborate with engineering suppliers to drive project success.

The role requires a minimum 1 year of GMP experience (or 2 years with an associate degree) and a willingness to work in a 24/7 manufacturing setting, with opportunities for career growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or relevant field required.
• Associate’s degree with 2+ years engineering/technical experience in GMP environment.
• High school diploma with 4+ years engineering/technical experience in GMP environment.
• Minimum 1 year engineering/technical experience preferred in GMP environment.
• Experience with design of requirements documents is a plus.
• Experience in GMP regulated environment preferred.
• Knowledge of FDA expectations is a plus.
• Experience with Process Control Systems is a plus.
• Ability to support a 24/7 operational business required.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine support and troubleshooting for the manufacturing facility.
• Review and approve design and requirement documents and technical specs.
• Create and participate in quality and risk management activities.
• Collaborate with engineering suppliers during design workshops.
• Input and review Process FMECA’s, Process Module Diagrams, and Process Flow Diagrams.
• Support schedule adherence and coordinate with site stakeholders.
