Gabriel Horn Capital is a boutique fund placement advisory firm focused on raising institutional capital for select private equity funds and independent sponsors. We specialize in sector-focused funds and independent sponsors seeking to raise equity and / or debt per deal. Gabriel Horn Capital has successfully raised over $20 billion for various funds and special purpose vehicles managed by independent sponsors, with investments from leading institutional investors. We collaborate with General Partners and act as a resource for both General Partners and Limited Partners.

Role Description

This is a contract remote role for a Placement Agent in Private Equity. The Placement Agent will be responsible for identifying and securing institutional investors for private equity funds and independent sponsors. A core focus will be relationships with family offices and RIAs. Day-to-day tasks include conducting market research, distributing and selling private market offerings, managing investor relationships, coordinating meetings and presentations, and supporting fund-raising efforts. The role requires a deep understanding of the private equity and venture capital landscape and the ability to effectively communicate investment opportunities to potential investors.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of Experience in Private Equity, Fund Placement, and Investor Relations
  • Strong market research and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to develop effective marketing materials
  • Proven ability to build and maintain investor relationships
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field; MBA or CFA is a plus
  • Active Series 7 or 79 or 82 and Series 63
