  • Relationship building – actively engages in the climate‑tech startup ecosystem, networking with strategic contacts, attending industry events and conferences, building rapport with founders, potential co‑investors, and leadership from CIF portfolio companies.
  • Excellent communication skills – clearly communicates through verbal and written materials when interacting with management teams, collaborating with partners, and drafting investment memos and other documents.
  • Passion – interest and curiosity for climate change impacts, emerging technologies, and the application of technology to address global challenges.

  • Strong academic credentials and track record: an undergraduate degree is required.
  • Strong collaborative nature, including the ability to respectfully discuss and debate the merits and risks of potential investments with colleagues.
