Job summary

Oak Forest Anglican Church in Houston seeks an Associate Priest (or Clergy-in-Formation) to assist the Rector in preaching, pastoral care, and the shepherding of volunteer teams. This is a full-time position with a salary commensurate with experience, plus housing and benefits stipend.

We welcome inquiries from ordained Anglican clergy, those in formation, and pastors from outside the Anglican tradition who are drawn to it.

Qualifications

• Experience assisting a Rector in preaching and pastoral care.
• Ability to shepherd volunteer teams.
• Open to ordained clergy or those in formation, including pastors from outside Anglican tradition.

Responsibilities

• Preach 8–12 sermons per year.
• Provide pastoral care to parishioners.
• Support shepherding of volunteer teams and ministries.
