Job summary

EGC Group is seeking a Publicist to join Suade’s expanding team in Brooklyn or Melville, NY. You’ll shape earned media strategy, secure coverage, and ideate creative ways to earn attention for clients.

You’ll be based in a creative, high-energy team with flexible work, a hybrid schedule (3 days in office), and opportunities for real career growth and strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of PR or media relations experience.
• Track record of top-tier placements.
• Strong writing and storytelling instincts.
• Ability to juggle multiple accounts without losing thread.

Responsibilities

• Write pitches, press releases and media alerts editors want to open.
• Conduct regular media outreach to secure features and interviews.
• Spot timely news hooks and turn them into opportunities for clients.
• Build targeted media lists and keep them sharp.
• Grow journalist relationships and track placements.

Suade is expanding it’s team and seeking a passionate Publicist. You’ll work across a broad roster of consumer and trade clients, shaping earned media strategy, securing media coverage, and ideating creative ways to earn attention on behalf of clients.

You’ll be based in our DUMBO, Brooklyn office with a creative, high-energy team that likes unexpected ideas, works flexibly, and is growing fast.

Location: Brooklyn (DUMBO) or Melville, NY / Hybrid (3 days in office)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Write pitches, press releases, and media alerts that editors actually want to open
• Conduct regular media outreach to secure interviews, features, and news coverage
• Spot timely news hooks and turn them into opportunities for clients
• Build targeted media lists and keep them sharp
• Grow genuine relationships with journalists and editors, as well as an expanded view of what’s considered media
• Track placements and report on what’s working

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of PR or media relations experience
• A track record of top-tier placements
• Strong writing and a good instinct for what makes a story
• The organization to juggle multiple accounts without dropping a thread
• Bonus points for experience in health and wellness, financial institutions, or higher education, along with reporter relationships in those beats
