Job summary

CalSTRS Investments Branch seeks an experienced Associate Portfolio Manager to join the Private Equity team in San Francisco, CA. You will participate in co-investment underwriting, support sourcing, and monitor investments across the portfolio.

Qualifications

Experience in US and international private markets
Proven track record in private market investments
Commitment to governance, transparency and compliance
Experience with funds, co-investments, direct investments and other vehicles
Ability to work with consultants, investment managers and partners

Responsibilities

Participate in co-investment underwriting (primary and secondary)
Assist in sourcing co-investments and monitor investments
Underwrite partnerships and other transaction types
Lead day-to-day implementation of investment strategies in US and international markets
