Job summary

Rust-Oleum Corporation is seeking an Associate Product Manager for Small Project Paints in Vernon Hills, IL. You will support the product team, manage projects end-to-end, and drive go-to-market activities to grow a fast-moving product category.

You’ll analyze trends, collaborate with design, sales, and operations, and help launch new products and color lines while shaping packaging updates and market strategies. The role blends strategy with hands-on execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field.
• 3+ years of relevant Brand or Product experience (consumer packaged goods preferred).
• Experience using Power BI and other reporting tools to analyze data, track performance, and communicate actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Support the product management team and lead your own projects from ideation to launch.
• Assist in managing the product lifecycle from concept to post-launch analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive new product development and campaigns.
• Develop product positioning, feature specs, and pricing strategies.
• Travel to meetings and events about 5% of the time.
