The Role

Associate Photographers are responsible for media collection for Homes.com and Apartments.com. Using top-tier equipment such as Pro 3 Matterport cameras, digital cameras, and iPads, they create virtual tours, floor plans, and photography of residential homes. Each photographer manages a core territory, servicing clients by capturing virtual tours, floor plans, and marketing-quality photographs. This role involves working closely with clients, sales, logistics, and management teams, often remotely.

Responsibilities

  • Support marketing efforts by capturing virtual tours and footprints for Homes.com and Apartments.com.
  • Create high-quality photographs of homes and apartments, utilizing professional techniques.
  • Coordinate with scheduling and dispatch teams to optimize appointments.
  • Communicate professionally with clients and internal teams to prioritize tasks.
  • Navigate designated market areas to ensure comprehensive real estate data coverage, identifying new inventory and missing data.
  • Adhere to safety standards to protect equipment and vehicles.
  • Participate in conference calls and team meetings as needed.

Physical Requirements

  • Repetitive sitting, standing, and walking up to 8 hours daily.
  • Ability to lift and maneuver equipment weighing up to 5 pounds.
  • Repetitive hand movements and occasional bending or lifting.
  • Work outdoors in all seasons and weekends on a rotating schedule.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience, with a focus on real estate photography.
  • Experience as a professional photographer or recent photography degree.
  • Strong time management, attention to detail, and data entry skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Windows, Apple OS, Microsoft Office, and internet applications.
  • Valid driver’s license and responsible driving record.

Compensation

This hourly position offers approximately $50,000 annually, with monthly performance bonuses. It is designed for individuals motivated by metrics and incentives.
