Job summary

Elevations Credit Union is seeking an Associate Financial Solutions Guide to join our Boulder office. As part of the branch team, you will help members with accounts, provide financial guidance, and offer value-adding financial solutions, delivering consistent, high-quality service to every member.

You will originate lending applications, handle daily transactions, and build relationships to drive member growth while adhering to all policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years consultative sales/service experience.
• 1+ years of Financial Institution experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Current notary or certification within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Meet with members to provide account services and financial guidance.
• Originate consumer lending applications and identify referral opportunities.
• Handle account maintenance tasks: deposits, withdrawals, online banking, refunds.
• Develop relationships with members and community to increase member acquisition.

Summary/Objective

As part of the branch team, the Associate Financial Solutions Guide (AFSG) meets with Elevations’ members and prospective members to provide account services, financial guidance and offer value adding financial solutions. The AFSG is an important part of the branch team that creates raving fans through delivering amazing experiences - every member, every time.

Essential Functions

• Exhibits passion for Elevations Credit Union (ECU) and demonstrates Elevations’ core values, Integrity, Respect, Passion, Creativity, and Excellence.
• Engages members using the Personalized, Elegant, Accurate, Kind, and Timely (PEAK’T) Service model; with care, professionalism, and the highest level of service to explore relevant solutions to members and refer to internal partners as identified.
• Originates consumer lending applications and identifies other internal partner referral opportunities.
• Handles account maintenance needs such as opening and closing accounts, online banking support, and fee refunds. Other transactions to include, but not limited to, processing account deposits, cash handling, withdrawals, and payments.
• Develops and fosters professional relationships with members and within the community to increase member acquisition and generate revenue, including outbound calling.
• Demonstrates operational excellence through adherence with established policies, procedures, and processes.
• Adheres to all applicable Federal and State laws and regulations governing the Credit Union, including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA).

Required Skills, Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years consultative sales/service experience
• 1+ years of Financial Institution Experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Current notary or receives certification within 90 days of employment

Preferred Skills, Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree
• Consumer and business lending experience
• Bilingual English/Spanish speaking preferred – includes $150/month bilingual bonus after passing aptitude assessment!

Work Environment

Elevations uses multi-factor authentication to keep our data safe. As such, a personal smartphone is a requirement for employment with us. This job operates in an office setting and routinely uses standard office equipment.

Physical Requirements

Sitting frequently, walking occasionally, use of hands frequently, hearing constantly, talking frequently, exerting up to 10 lbs of force occasionally and up to 25 lbs of force infrequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects.

Compensation Information

The person hired into this position will likely earn between $22.51 and $28.14, plus annual bonus.

Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted hiring range based on factors such as relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, licensure requirements and/or skill level, and will be finalized at the time of offer.

Anticipated Application Window
