Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Dentist to join our team at Just Kids Dental. As a Pediatric Dentist, you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional dental care to children and adolescents. Your primary focus will be on diagnosing and treating oral health issues, providing preventive care, and ensuring the well-being and comfort of our young patients. You will collaborate with a dedicated team to deliver high-quality dental services while adhering to our mission and values.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat dental issues in pediatric patients, including routine examinations, cleanings, and restorative procedures.
• Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to the individual needs of each patient.
• Educate patients and their caregivers on proper oral hygiene and preventive measures.
• Address patients' dental concerns and anxieties with empathy and patience.
• Work closely with dental assistants and hygienists to provide comprehensive care.
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a safe and hygienic operatory environment.
• Uphold infection control protocols and adhere to the highest standards of patient care.
• Stay current with advancements in pediatric dentistry through continuous learning and professional development.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to dental staff, fostering a culture of excellence in pediatric dental care.
  
  

Qualifications

• D.D.S. or D.M.D. degree from an accredited dental school.
• Completion of a pediatric dentistry residency program.
• Board Certification or eligibility for board certification in Pediatric Dentistry.
• State licensure in Louisiana.
• Strong commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially with children and their families.
• A genuine passion for pediatric dentistry and a desire to make a positive impact on young patients' oral health.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.
