Job summary

Kadlec Regional Medical Center, part of the Providence family, is seeking an Associate Patient Services Specialist. Under supervision, you will handle patient registration and pre-registration for scheduled accounts, verify insurance coverage and benefits, and obtain required authorizations.

You’ll contribute to upfront revenue collection while delivering high-quality service to patients and internal stakeholders.

• 6 months of Customer service experience.
• General office experience.

Under the general supervision of the MGR PATIENT ACCESS/SCHEDULING, performs patient registration and pre-registration of scheduled accounts, verify insurance coverage, benefits, and obtains pre-certification, referral or authorizations as needed per insurance requirements; Participates in the collection of up-front revenue due the facility and provides quality customer service to internal and external customers.

Shift Details:

• On Call, Variable Shift, 0.4 working hours weekly

Required Qualifications:
