Overview

As an Associate Patient Care Coordinator, you will support clinical staff and patients in a center-based front office role. Your responsibilities include greeting patients, assisting with check-in and check-out, and ensuring all administrative tasks are completed efficiently.

Location & Schedule

Location: 289 Olmsted Blvd, Pinehurst, NC

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5:30pm

Responsibilities
  • Provide reception and clerical support in the clinic’s front office.
  • Ensure the clinic environment is welcoming and adheres to brand guidelines.
  • Assist patients with check-in/check-out, review charts, verify insurance, and collect necessary documents.
  • Help onboard new patients, access patient portals, and prepare paperwork.
  • Respond to patient inquiries, answer calls, and triage requests.
  • Schedule appointments and internal referrals.
  • Process payments and address insurance eligibility issues.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and secure patient information.
Qualifications

Required:

  • High School Diploma/GED or higher.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a medical or mental health office environment.

Preferred:

  • Experience with Electronic Health Records (Athena preferred).
  • Proficiency with computers, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Basic medical terminology knowledge.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills for diverse audiences.
Compensation & Benefits

The hourly salary range is $16.00 to $28.85, based on experience and qualifications. Benefits include paid time off, health plans, retirement plans, education reimbursement, and more. Details at uhg.hr/uhgbenefits.
