The Associate Patient Care Coordinator is responsible to the Center Administrator and provides appointment scheduling, patient registration, cashiering, answers incoming calls, and performs other related clerical functions. This primary role provides front office support functions.

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00AM – 5:00PM

Location: 9801 N Metro Pkwy E, Phoenix, AZ

This position will transition into a hybrid role with the expectation to be onsite 2-3 times per week.

Primary Responsibilities
  1. Greets patients as they arrive and manages appropriate standard wait times
  2. Answers phones and schedules appointments
  3. Running insurance eligibility checks
  4. Answer telephone calls, re-direct calls as appropriate, assist callers with questions or concerns, and take messages as needed
  5. Manages medical records (maintains, files/scans, prepares for schedule)
  6. Ensures all correspondence is scanned and/or filed, processes requests for medical records release, and maintains appropriate logs
  7. Supporting other clinics within the Arizona market
  8. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, employees, and the public
  9. Performs all other related duties as assigned

    Required Qualifications
    • High School Diploma/GED or higher
    • 1+ years of customer service experience
    • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
    Preferred Qualifications
    • 1+ years of medical office process experience
    • Experience with data entry and EMR applications
    • Adherence to telecommuting policies if applicable

    The salary range is $16.00 to $28.85 per hour, based on full-time employment and various factors such as location, experience, and certifications. Benefits and incentives are also provided.
