Job summary

Trinity Lutheran Church in Turtle Lake, North Dakota seeks an Associate Pastor to lead worship, baptisms, weddings, funerals, and youth ministry, while caring for the spiritual well-being of all ages. The role requires a Master of Divinity or near completion and adherence to the LCMC faith and sacraments.

The package includes full-time compensation of $52,000-$56,160 annually, three weeks of PTO, parsonage housing, retirement contributions, health insurance, and travel/cell phone reimbursements,

Qualifications

• Master of Divinity or Master of Theology degree from an accredited seminary, or near completion of education to obtain degree.
• Willingness to subscribe to the LCMC Statement of Faith and sacraments in the Lutheran tradition.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily community, needs, and stewardship of church members across all ages.
• Conduct baptisms, weddings, funerals, Sunday services, and youth ministries.
• Develop relationships with families and members through visits to support evangelism efforts in Turtle Lake.
