Job summary

First Baptist Church of Laurel in Maryland is seeking a full-time Associate Pastor to care for its 365 members. The role includes providing pastoral care, developing discipleship structures, and building a biblical counseling culture.

The ideal candidate will participate in the preaching rotation and will become an elder within 6-12 months. Strong teaching skills and commitment to reformed theology are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a commitment to reformed theology and historic Baptist beliefs.
• Experience in pastoral care and preaching preferred.
• Ability to develop corporate discipleship structures.

Responsibilities
