Introduction

IBM Consulting is seeking an experienced Associate Partner specializing in Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud Solutions to join our dynamic team serving the Communications and Industrial sectors. This role is critical in driving growth through client engagement, lead generation, opportunity creation, and successful contract execution.

Your role and responsibilities

  1. Client Profiling & Lead Generation: Identify and profile potential clients, leveraging deep understanding of AWS offerings and partner ecosystems to generate high-quality leads.

  2. Opportunity Pipeline Management: Develop and execute strategies to cultivate a robust sales pipeline, converting prospects into signed contracts.

  3. Solution Delivery: Collaborate with technical teams to design, deliver, and ensure the highest quality of AWS-based solutions tailored to client needs.

  4. Revenue and Gross Profit Targets: Achieve and exceed individual scorecard metrics focusing on signings, revenue, and gross profit contributions.

  5. Partnership Management: Navigate and leverage IBM's partner programs effectively to enhance service offerings and client value.

  6. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, internal stakeholders, and partner communities.

This work can be performed from anywhere in the U.S. except Florida.

Required technical and professional expertise

'- Experience: Minimum 7 years in cloud services, with a focus on AWS, preferably within the consulting or technology services sector.

  • Expertise: In-depth knowledge of AWS services, industry trends, and partner ecosystem dynamics.

  • Sales Acumen: Proven track record in sales, with experience in closing complex deals and managing large-scale implementations.

  • Leadership: Ability to lead and mentor junior team members, contributing to the growth of IBM Consulting's AWS practice.
