Scoular is seeking an Associate Originator to build producer relationships and connect grain supply with market opportunities. You will learn sourcing, marketing and movement through the supply chain while developing commercial and leadership skills to grow your territory through a two-year Pathways Development Program.

We offer rotations, mentorship and accelerated learning. Location options include Waverly, IL and several Kansas sites, with in-person networking and ongoing education as part of

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent experience.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to travel as needed.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with producers.
• Learn grain procurement strategies supporting demand.
• Monitor local market conditions and crop trends.
• Negotiate grain purchases and provide solutions.
• Collaborate with merchandising, logistics and operations to execute contracts.
• Develop territory management and business development skills.
• Participate in developmental rotations to gain cross-functional exposure.
