GENERAL FUNCTION

The Associate Optometrist is a leader in the organization, delivering the brand promise, experience, and key results through collaboration and teamwork. Ensures all patients receive high-quality optometric care by performing clinical protocols, maximizing results, and promoting growth through strong partnerships with the MOD, SMM, and team. Serves as a brand ambassador, driven by passion and high standards, always striving to exceed expectations.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Ensure executional excellence and achieve results in collaboration with the MOD and store team.
  2. Demonstrate commitment to exceeding results through KPI management and accountability.
  3. Promote the brand as the leading optical provider within the community.
  4. Act as a successful stakeholder to all organizational leaders and the local market.
  5. Prioritize patient/customer needs and deliver excellent service.
  6. Strive to exceed all KPI expectations.
  7. Provide unsurpassed patient service by addressing visual lifestyle needs, making eyewear recommendations, explaining eye exams, utilizing visual aids, and ensuring patients understand their eye health and overall well-being.
  8. Ensure accurate diagnosis and appropriate recommendations for all patients.
  9. Build positive doctor-patient relationships.
  10. Leverage technology to enhance patient experiences.
  11. Maintain office systems and state licensure, and meet continuing education requirements.
  12. Provide training and guidance to team members using company programs.
  13. Deliver timely, motivating, and constructive feedback to staff.
  14. Create a positive workplace culture aligned with corporate values.
  15. Encourage decision-making at the closest level to the patient.
  16. Foster partnerships through leadership and involvement.
  17. Ensure the office maintains a professional appearance and a safe environment.
  18. Lead by example.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  1. Doctor of Optometry degree.
  2. Commitment to quality patient care.
  3. Knowledge of current optometric theory and technology.
  4. Strong communication and listening skills.
  5. Problem-solving abilities.
  6. Solid organizational skills.
