General Function

This role ensures high-quality optometric care through comprehensive clinical protocols, promotes practice growth, and serves as a key ambassador both within and outside the organization, driven by passion and high standards.

Major Duties and Responsibilities
  • Ensure executional excellence and results in partnership with the managing doctor and team.
  • Exceed results through strong KPI management and accountability.
  • Meet the Standard of Care as per the private practice owner.
  • Position the practice as a leading optical provider in the community.
  • Deliver excellent optometric care, prioritizing the patient.
  • Address optical lifestyle needs and recommend eyewear based on patient needs.
  • Explain eye exam steps and use visual aids for patient understanding.
  • Communicate the importance of annual eye exams and conduct services per standards.
  • Provide accurate diagnoses and build positive patient relationships.
  • Maintain licensure, meet CE requirements, and mentor team members.
  • Foster a positive organizational culture and encourage decision-making at the closest level to the patient.
  • Lead through participation and partnership, maintain the office appearance, and ensure safety.
Basic Qualifications
  • Doctor of Optometry degree

Pay Range

$59.20 - $80.74 per hour

Compensation considers location, experience, skills, and compliance with minimum wage laws, with potential bonuses, commissions, and benefits such as health care, retirement, paid time off, and discounts.
