Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program.
• Active Illinois optometry license in good standing.
• Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively with doctors, technicians and staff.
• New graduates and experienced optometrists are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye examinations for patients of all ages.
• Diagnose, manage, and co-manage ocular diseases and conditions.
• Provide contact lens evaluations, fittings, and follow-up care.
• Prescribe corrective lenses and educate patients on their eye health needs.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment and modern technology to support clinical decisions.
• Collaborate with other doctors and staff to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain accurate electronic health records.
• Communicate clearly with patients regarding diagnoses and follow-up.
